    • Mr. Gs and Brownies on 4th Ave
    • Walmart is open 24x7
    • Fries seems to have best vegetables
    • Vegetable stand outside the campus has great deals
    • Green Tree
  • Streets all have funny numbering and almost duplications
    • Streets, lanes, Place tend to run East-West
    • Avenues tend to run North-South
  • Algodones has great deals on dentistry, booze, pharmaceuticals.
  • Plastic storage containers go brittle in the sun
  • Car batteries and tires don't last, fuel vapor lock.
  • If you are from north of here there is less twilight
  • AAA is worth it.
  • You can tell who's Yuman by when they start to think it's cold.
  • Spanish pronunciation is commonly used. For instance, gala sounds like hila.
