                                                                        Other Conference Information

      Presenters

Please arrive at your presentation room a few minutes early to meet your moderator and to discuss minor

logistics and potential computer technical difficulties with your presentation. Oral presentations are 45 minutes

in length. All computers in the presentation rooms have direct access to the Internet and are interfaced

with an overhead projector. The computers are PC.

If you wish to connect your own technology (laptops, iPads, etc.) to our venues’ existing audio/video

systems to deliver or enhance your presentation, you will need to provide your own VGA adapter,

converter or dongle. Arizona Western College’s digital-projection systems do not support HDM, DVI,

Apple Mini Displayport, or other video output sources. Please contact Josue Figueroa

(josue.figueroa@azwestern.edu) if you would like additional information about the college’s technology

offerings, or if you require assistance determining what type of equipment you need. To ensure a prompt

email response from Josue, in the email Subject: line please write AWC 2YC3 Chemistry Conference.

Please be advised that permission may be sought from you to digitally record your presentation. If you agree to

have your presentation digitally recorded, then your presentation will be uploaded and archived on the 2YC3

website. Only 2YC3 members have access to the archives.

      Hotel Shuttle

The two conference hotels are located across the street from one another. The hotels are approximately

8 miles from the AWC campus. A shuttle van operated by the hotels will be available at selected times for

roundtrip transportation between AWC and the two hotels. But please be advised that the shuttle van has

limited seating capacity (8 occupants) so you may have to wait (perhaps a long time) for a shuttle ride.

Hence, it may be prudent to rent a car (or carpool with another conference attendee staying in the same

hotel) should you want to potentially avoid having to wait.

      Wireless Access

Wi-Fi is available on the AWC main campus where the conference proceedings will take place. A password

to access the network is not required.

      Friday Evening Banquet

If you reserved a meal for the Friday night banquet, a ticket will be provided when you pick up your registration

      packet.

      Receipts

If you paid by check, then a receipt will be provided when you pick up your registration packet.
